WP ELECTRIC & COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has been providing Data/Voice cabling and electrical services in California since 1975 and across the states since 1996. We opened our office in Texas 2015. Our data/communications and electrical technicians have been trained and certified to install cabling infrastructures and electrical services by several industry leaders.

WP Electric and Communications, Inc (WP). has been installing electrical and cabling systems since 1975. At that time, a data network consisted of coax cable, dumb terminals, and a controller. WP has been in the forefront during the evolution from coax, twinax, RS232, to the high speed twisted pair and Fiber Structured Cabling Systems of today. WP currently has five (5) BICSI RCDD’s on staff.
Our low voltage teams are experts in installation of; Voice/Data Cabling, Fiber Optics, Security Cameras, Access Control and Passive & Active DAS. Our technicians receive on-going industry update training from leading manufacturers such as BELDEN, BERK-TEK, COMMSCOPE, CPI, CORNING, ESSEX, GENERAL, HANWHA, HUBBELL, LEVITON, ORTRONICS, PANDUIT, WILSON as well as the governing body of the telecommunications industry, BICSI.
With a history of over 45 years in the electrical field our team has the experience and knowledge to take on a wide range of projects from a single circuit to complex ground up buildings, tenant improvements and data centers. Our staff has extensive knowledge of NEC, OSPOD, Local and State Codes.
All of our electricians and low voltage technicians hold many safety certifications and are in continuous updates or trainings for OSHA Safety, Aerial/Platform Lift, CPR, Job Site Hazards, Ladder Safety and many more.
Not only are our employees well-trained, they also know what true “Customer Care” is and practice it every day. We treat each customer as if they are our only customer.
